Every year, enthusiasts of this cake wait in line. Well, not literally, but we’d started getting email inquiries about a month and a half before Deepavali from people specifically asking for this cake. Once you taste it, you will know why this cake is pretty special! It’s a wonderfully rich cake, made with our butter cake batter with added crushed pistachios.Then it’s scented with pure cardamom or elakkai in Tamil or elaichi in Hindi. It is the third most expensive spice in the world, behind saffron and vanilla. The cake is covered in our vanilla buttercream and sprinkled with little marigold flower petals. You are now Deepavali-ready!
